Seamless Gutters in Athens, AL

Two kinds of houses, two kinds of work

On new construction, the gutter is usually present but minimal: 5" troughs and the fewest downspouts the plan allowed. The fix is sizing, not repair.

On older homes the gutter is often original, sectional, and leaking at half its joints, with fascia damage hiding behind it. We check the wood before we hang anything new on it.

When old gutters are past repairing

An isolated sag or a pulled spike is a repair, and we will do it as one. Gutters undersized for the roof, or sectional gutters leaking at multiple joints, have reached replacement. Resealing seam after seam on a forty-year-old run buys a season at best.

Aluminum finishes carry a manufacturer warranty of roughly 20 years, which is a fair way to think about how long a replacement should last.

Sizing and color decisions

We install K-style aluminum in 5" and 6". Six inch moves noticeably more water and pairs with bigger downspouts, which matters on the steeper roofs and larger footprints in the newer neighborhoods. Color goes one of two ways: match the trim so the gutter disappears, or contrast it so the roofline reads as a line you chose. We bring samples out with us.

Price and how the schedule works

Most seamless installs run $10 to $15 per foot, and the exact figure comes from a free on-site written quote. Most homes are done in one day. We take 50% down to schedule and the rest at completion, financing is available, and workmanship is warranted for 2 years.
